New Year, New Faces!

We had an amazing 2023 here at TrustWorkz, and found ourselves looking to expand our team for an even better 2024! During our search for a new team member, we found Jennifer Coleman, a sales and marketing expert ready to turbocharge our team! Jennifer is our new Business Development Manager, and we sat down for a quick interview to get to know her and welcome her to our family.

Get to Know Jen Coleman

Q: What part of working for TrustWorkz are you most excited about?

A: Having the opportunity to find marketing solutions for small to midsize businesses that can help them thrive digitally.

Q: What’s your favorite part of working in marketing?

A: I enjoy the creativity, the dynamic nature of the field, the chance to connect with a variety of vertical markets, and the satisfaction of seeing tangible results for a client.

Q: How long have you been in the industry?

A: My love for marketing began in college. I have a degree in communication and media studies and interned with CNN in their Marketing & Creative Services department. The marketing bug was there to stay ever since. Collectively, I have a diverse background with 25+ years of marketing experience. 8 of those years have focused on working with businesses on their marketing and advertising plans.

Q: What do you look for in a new client?

A: I look for prospective clients that have pain points we can provide solutions for.

Q: What would you recommend for a small business looking to increase their digital presence?

A: A consultation with a “Business Scan” would be my first recommendation. We offer strategic customized plans for each of our clients based on their goals, their budget, and what we find as we research their online presence. A great place to start would be ensuring they have a user-friendly website, an effective social media presence, content marketing, local SEO, and online advertising. The needs and priorities can vary from business to business which is why a consultation is of utmost importance.

Q: Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

A: I enjoy getting outside in nature, going on walks with our dog Flynn, and spending time at the barn with my daughter and her horse Amberjack/”AJ” (while sneaking in an occasional ride myself when able)! I enjoy fun date nights with my husband and trying the many local restaurants our community offers. Shopping local and supporting small businesses with friends is something I enjoy as well.

Looking Ahead at 2024

2024 is going to be an incredible year at TrustWorkz, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome Jennifer to the team. We’re looking forward to the unique perspectives and ideas that she brings to the table, and can’t wait to see how she flourishes in this position. We already love her, and are so excited for all of you to get to know her!
